Colour poem

This is my color poem.We had to choose a  color and use adverbs verbs and use them in sentences. It was pretty challenging finding some of the words but it was good because I learnt some new vocabulary along the way. My color was yellow, so here it is.

A big long skinny banana sitting lonely in the fruit bowl

A little dandelion sitting patiently in the stiff grass

A swirly playground slide hanging from its frame

Pikachu running quickly down the road

The hurricanes top hanging stilly in the changing rooms

The big yellow sun sitting quietly in space

WALT to use descriptive language to help create an image (picture) in our reader's head

Success Criteria

• Use adjectives to describe the noun
• Use adverbs to describe the verb (describe how the action is happening) l
• Use a range of verbs to explain what is happening
• Use a range of nouns that help us identify with a colour
