Maths!

Today I will be explaning some maths! blog post




Here is a video of Camden and I showing 3 ways to figure out 58x4. We used place value, double and double and double and half.We used the app show me.We have been working on using our knowledge and our strategies to work out the equations. We got to choose from subtraction or multiplication.I found subtraction easy so I chose that first but then I changed my mind and chose multiplication because it was more challenging for me and I could also learn some new strategies.

Here is a picture of my maths task.We are learning about capacity which is like weight length.

I enjoyed learning this because I didn't know much about it before.We had to use our brains and order lightest and heaviest the top is the lightest and then so on till the heaviest. We had to work by ourselves but that helps us so the other person won’t do all the work for you.

Maths

I am blogging this because I enjoyed it and I did good in it.I was learning how to measure and add different ways.
Here is a picture of my working out from my maths task. Here we had to measure from Annie's town and visit all of her friends and make it bake to Annie's town. We could take whatever route we wanted to take around the map.My partners were Josh and Manasseh. I thought it was really fun and challenging too. I would like to do more things like this again in the future.

My rich maths task

This is my maths.We had to reflect rotate and translate.We had two make an array of 48 shapes.What I did was 4 x 12. And this is what it looks like. The first time I tried it I did it wrong. I liked it but it was challenging as-well.We had two use 3 different shapes to make it with.
